Jeepmangled87 07-09-2002, 06:39 PM This is one gay post, :flipoff2: but for real man just get a silver spray paint and go to town, you cant go wrong, Im sure you could also give Currie a call and they would probably send you some pics.
JeeperJake 07-09-2002, 06:55 PM okay, thats great that you think its gay- i dont care, but someone's gotta know what im talking about.
MR4WD 07-09-2002, 06:58 PM The Currie Fire Ant...
snoop dogg 07-09-2002, 08:15 PM the currie rig has a red cage...im not positive. BUT i think i know of what color your talking about. I think it is cast iron gray. I painted my axles that color...old ones. But it looks pretty sharp. They guy just wanted to know what color the friggin cage was!!!
You can find it at any auto store, it's in rattle can that says nascar on it, im guessing nascar uses it for some stuff. But any cast iron gray will suffice.
dog walker 07-09-2002, 08:34 PM Why not look on the calrocs page? Ron and I compete against them at every event and they kick our butt! So I know there's pics of them on the webpage.

I don't know. How stupid do you have to be to respond to every wise ass who rips you when you asked a interior decorating question about "what shade of silver?" Call your buddy Christopher Lowell and I bet he can coordinate it for you :D

Flatty 07-10-2002, 04:25 PM Hey you guys, lay off him. I mean teh guy wants to paint his cage. I know that 3/4 of the so called "hardcore" wheelers on this page probably cry about denting their rigs. So back off
As for the paint, got to your Home Depot, and get some silver Hammerrite. This stuff will not be super shiny, but it will be gray/silver. My bro painted his axles taht coler, as well as his roll bar and hood scoop. I painted my whole bronco that color in my garage. You can paint this color right over your paint, and it is a rust inhibitor too. It is like 6.00 a can, but worth just about every cent.

I could give a sh!t about denting my rig as it will tell you. Does that mean I don't have to back off? :D

snoop dogg 07-11-2002, 11:26 AM the pics of that cage are probably powder coated, but that is the same color as cast iron gray, no joke. cast iron gray is not shiny, but it has the metallic color. go to home depot or autozone, discount auto parts and pick it up. that was the same color of my old 44's, but i just used cast iron gray.
JeeperJake 07-11-2002, 12:24 PM cool, thanks
