: D-series Cab Parts.. must go
RustoleumWhite 07-09-2002, 06:26 PM before you guys give me crap about "this should be in the "For Slae" section.... most people on this board would have no clue as to what a D-series is so.... :flipoff2:
I got whats left of a D-Series ('69-'75) pick-up cab in my yard... that is going to the scraper, preferably this weekend.
ANYBODY wants anything off it let me know, it yours for shipping or what ever, unless its a real bitch to pull... then I may ask for some time or  $
I've picked some of it, but there is still some decent stuff if for spares, extras, whatever....
let me know if you need anything, and I'll tell you if I got it.... Its got to go so hurry!
:rasta:
jdjanda 07-09-2002, 07:08 PM I hope your running an add on the BB. I think Chiefy is the only IH truck owner. Besides Tom, but that doesn't count.

I own 4. :) Fortunately 2 of them are parts trucks. :D
Sully 07-09-2002, 10:32 PM Yeah, post it to the BB. Do it right on the board itself, rather than the classifieds (since you are in a hurry to get it gone by the weekend). I betcha those guys will crawl all over it, and you might even get a couple of bucks out of it. Beer money at the very least.
TERRA-IZER 07-09-2002, 10:35 PM I own 2 IH trucks a 1966 1100 Travelall panel and a 1972 1210 4x4 truck and i'am thinking of buying a 1936 C-1.
Ben W 07-09-2002, 10:36 PM Mark, I could use the clips that hold up the inner side of the sun visors if you have some that aren't broken.
ol John Henry 07-09-2002, 10:39 PM um......I got some IH trucks too

I own 2 trucks, one T'all, and have an outstanding offer a third pickup.. :D
Mark - dash cover? How about front clip parts? :D 74-75 or 69-73? Need a 74-75 hood still, and maybe another grille..
Not sure what other misc interior crap I do/don't need.. I think I have most of it.
I don't suppose it has good glass, or a rear slider? :D

What make a 74-75 hood so special? :flipoff2:

If you look (where's that post about "What is my truck" at?) you'll notice the 74/75 hood has a bulge in the front/center, while the 69-73 hoods are "flat"
The 74/75 grille and lower valance also bulge out in the center to match the hood.
You can swap a 69-73 hood for a 74/75 hood, but you'll want to swap the grille and lower valance to match and "look right".. that's all.
The only particular importance to me is I bought another 74 grille and lower valance, but still need a matching hood for my tow-rig. :)
Looks-be-damned on my trail rig, but I enjoyed all of the "Nice Truck" and "Now there's a guy who's into Internationals" that I always got when I'd pull up to the gas pump (every 2 hours) in my straight Travelette to refuel.. with either my trail rig or race rig on the trailer..

Uh  Yeah. I know. That's why I made the comment.:flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :rasta: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:
RustoleumWhite 07-10-2002, 08:36 AM Actually, I haven't posted it on the BB yet... may or may not.
Posted it before, and got nearly nothing. Now I've finally striped the clutch linkage I needed off it and I want it by-by....
hmm, might as well got post it there.....
done, :flipoff2:
Ben, I'll look, not sure though. Tom: I got some '72/'72 front stuff, nothing off this (IIRC it is/was a '69)
Frame however I'm saveing for a "future project" (can you say short-bed IH PU Hot-rod!!, I knew you could....)

yep ben its got'm... I'll pull them for ya before I crush it....
any other takers?? Wiper motor?, ducts? Bench seat with cover (no idea what shape the actual seat is in, but the covers not bad)
I got a couple sets of doors too (and rear t-all/t-lette doors)
And 2 or 3 63" wide D44's.....
CLEANING HOUSE!!!
Ben W 07-10-2002, 10:01 PM cool.
I could also use a matched set of door lock cylinders & ignition switch. :D
I could use a good seat also, but I was thinking of going with something more comfortable out of a late model truck.
What kind of door panels does it have, metal or cloth? Is the headliner in good condition?
Ben W 07-10-2002, 10:09 PM I could use 1 or 2 of the 63" D44's also... Those are rears, correct?
I can pick this stuff up at NWBRU. :D

OK, I stand corrected, there are a bunch of closet truck owners here. Now let's see some action shots. I'd love to see a T-all run the Con
tsm1mt 07-11-2002, 09:43 AM Like Ben, I might take one rear '44 from you.. I'm thinking my 1/2T will move up to 8-lug axles freeing up one truck '44 rear for a spare for Little Devil.. but one more wouldn't hurt, right? (oh no.. it's happening again..)
How 'bout that dash cover, Mark? The metal unit that goes over the gauges n' such.. or are you keeping that? :D
Does it have a working dash-clock? I need to send away the one in my Travelette to get repaired.. ( :flipoff2: )
Did you save the trans tunnel cover?

I've already posted pics of my T'all on the trail - just don't have a lot of "good" and high quality ones..
I'm pondering "light wheelin'" duty for my 74 1/2T pickup in the future...
Fullsizes are FUN.

Of course. :D I'm in the same boat. I have one I'm using on the next project, figured I'd pick up another 1 or 2 for spare parts.
RustoleumWhite 07-11-2002, 01:52 PM my god!! All sorts of parts requests!!
I'll have to check how many D44's I have.. I *would* like some $$ for those.. but we can haggle those out off-air...
Ben, I'll have to check the door panels, I have the metal covers... not sure on what soft panels I have or what shape they are in. I was going to make custum ones for the t-lette. There is a fiber-board headliner... not sure if its worth saveing, haven't looked at it closely. I don't think its torn, but it is worped....
Seats yours if you want it.... just let me know and I'll make an attemt to pull it. You just got to promise to take it if I bring 'em :D
matching locks and ignition?!? Get real :flipoff2: try here: (http://members.aol.com/suprscout/)
Tommy, do you want the gauge cover? or the part that the gauges actually bolt into (the dash face).
Which style? The t-lette originaly had to large one that went from side to side... I've since swaped it with the "later"(??) style that goes about 3/4 of the way... looks nicer in my opinion, plus the t-all a scraped a years ago or so had it and a really nice dash pad...
I still have the gauge cover off the t-lette... and the cracked to hell pad... if you can use it, I can bring it. The pad will need covering, but the cover is in good shape. FYI, the dash face is different between them as well, not anything that my welder and grinder can't take care of :D
jdjanda: :flipoff2: this is my tow rig... no-way it will do the con... maybe pull my junk TOO the con.....
its getting lowered :flipoff2: (but not in the weeds, thats :rainbow: on an "actual" tow rig)

Whatttttt?? You want money for those junkers? We're doing you a favor, saving you a trip to the dump to get rid of them. YOU should be paying US. :jester:
Just kidding. Don't try to pawn off any SII rears on me though, I only want the wide stuff. :flipoff2:  Forget about the rest of the junk, I'll just take the visor clip things and a rearend.

The flimsey sheetmetal cover that hides the gauge's mounting screws and houses the air-ducting's "flaps"
That piece.
I could use one.. not a big deal, but if you're needing to clean things up.. my '74 100 doesn't have a guage-cover, that's all. I have door panels, seat, seat cover, headliner, visors, etc.. just not a metal dash cover.
Not too worried about the cracked dash pad in the 1/2T either.. the one in the Travelette is in good, not perfect, but good condition.. good 'nuff I won't bother changing it. :D
I don't really need any rear axles, either.. just one more thing I'd trip over, really.. ;)
