I'm looking into buying a samurai for trail-only use and what I need is a detailed picture of a frame with dimensions and measurements so that I can start designing a 4 link front and rear suspension in AutoCad. Anyone have such a picture or know where I can find one?

The goal I have in mind now is to have AT LEAST 35x16 boggers with toyota axles. A buddy of mine is swapping out his toy axles with 5.29s, lock right front, rear spool, redline birf eliminator kit, and high clearance crossover steering (I think all-pro?) for D60/D70 axles and I can probably get his axles for something reasonable. I also have a friend with an '87 sami that has a springover and 35x15.5 SX's that has mentioned selling it to me for 800 bucks, and I'd probably do it.

where are you gonna get spares for that redline kit? :flipoff2: i think glenn at rocky road has at least all the frame dimensions.

Well this guy has a 350/nv4500/marlin 4.7 with 35x16 boggers and he hasn't had problems:D - yet :flipoff2:

i know he's on the board... but i can't remember his handle. maybe "glenn"? i remember fatkid was looking for the same thing and glenn chimed in. do a search cause i'm too lazy :flipoff2:

ok... i sniffed it out for you. :D his handle is "rocky road" and he has got the suzuki factory frame diagram showing all measurements at upper and side elevations. just what i think you want. here's the thread where it came up.
