: 3.0L engines

Anybody out ther know if the3.0L(w/o t he auto tranny)in a 89 Taurus will fit in a'95 Ranger (3.0L siezed, 5 spd manual) or are they different animals?

Dont get cheap with a 3.0L put a 4.0L the 3.0L is the wimpest engine I ever driven, GUTLESS!!!

Yep thats what I am doing, you cant get any power out of that 3.SLOW trust me I have tryed to find stuff for 3 years and gave up and am doing the 5.0 swap here in a couple of weeks.

don't be cheap with the 5.0.. get 5.8! or atleast a 347 stroker :flipoff2:
