98 runner, v6, 4x4 165k

I installed an aftermarket stereo and everything was working fine. Pulled it out to clean up the wires (after install), heard a pop and the radio and clock went dead. Fuse on the radio is a ok. Every fuse under the hood is fine. The fuse panel to the left of the steering wheel...all fuses fine. I have heard there is a radio/clock fuse under the steering wheel. I have it all pulled apart and I dont see any fuse. Any suggestions?
