Alright guys I sheared 2 bolts off on my transfer case mount so I disconnected all the drive lines took the tcase down got rid of the bolts and put the tcase back up.... So I put it in 4 low and creep around my house for a while and it seemed fine....so later on I left but forgot to unlock the hubs:eek: So I start going down the road and it starts vibrating and after about 15-20 miles of highway driving the vibrating gets worse so I pull over to see wtf is wrong?? and everything was solid underneath then I noticed that I forgot to unlock my hubs. So I unlocked them and drove for about 10 more miles and the vibrating just keeps getting worse and worse. So I know it is bad to drive on the highway with your hubs locked but are they screwed now? or is it that I just screwed up with installing everything back in.... Everything is solid except for the rear driveshaft where it goes into the axle but that was even loose before I took the tcase out and it didnt drive like this?? So any suggestions on stuff I can do or just ideas would help, Man after being out for a couple of weeks I thought I was finally gonna get some wheeling done:mad2: :rasta: Thanks guys!!!

as long as your not in 4wd it's not that bad to drive w/hubs locked. sounds like your axle flange is bent or maybe a bad u- joint.
When you took the t-case off did you replace the bolts, and if so, are they tight.
(this is a silly answer)also look if any weights are missing off your drivelines, they might be out of balnce and cause the vibration
BTW it's relly hard to fuckup a aisin hub;)

When you are flat towing with the t-case in nuetral, the front and rear drive shafts spin. Sounds like you have a u-joint going out. If you want to isolate the problem, do this:
1. Tow a short distance with t-case in two wheel drive. This will turn rear shaft only, if it vibrates, there's your problem. If not, the problem is probably the u-joints in the front shaft.

like john said, if you pulled the shaft apart, did you put it back together so that the two u-joints are lined up right????? i did that before and it had vibs.....

Ok I think that might be my problem guys, I did pull apart the rear driveshaft and did not realign the ujoints, going out to see if this works thanks a lot guys.
