Look guys...

I need help BAD. I got a TON of things to get done to make this rally as successful as possible, and I need some people to PLEASE help me out.

I need to delegate out some work on this rally before I fawkin burn myself out.

I need people to:

1. Get e-mails of major companies that sell 4x4 parts, rigs etc. and send them the Press Release. We had a LOT that went out, but we need WAY more. It does not matter if we double up.

2. E-mail AS MANY politicans as possible the press release. EVEN if they are not part of this. Does not matter! We gotta show how loud our voice is. calling them and asking them nicely to attend is even better. What state reps have we contacted? What about Arnie?? Mayors in towns near-by.

3. I need people to volunteer to keep the RALLY THREAD moving. I do not THINK it will stall....but there needs to be non-stop postive re-inforcement from people on that day. THANK THEM!!! Ask people to explain or build on what they posted...ask people to post pictures of the Hammers or what they have done in thier own area (clean-ups, brought thier family etc....

That thread NEEDS to keep moving all four hours. Ask people to post multiple times! Basically I would like 10-15 facilitators that keep the discussion going!

4. While everyone is doing a GREAT job of getting the word out. We need more. Many people are saying "I do not care, I have never been to the Hammers and will never go!" They are missing the point entirely!! The idea is to show everyone that our community has one loud voice! We need poeple from ALL OVER THE WORLD!

Thank you all for what you have done to this point.

Please keep it up!

Kurt, I suspect that a lot of folks are doing as I am. I'm not posting much about what I've been doing, but I read every single post in the Land Use forum, I read every single item in every forum about this issue.

I monitor every post I come across on at least 8 different boards and jump in to get it back to the top every time it slips off the first page.

We are on your side and just because we aren't posting up specifics, we're on it and we're not slacking, nor do we intend to.

I've personally put the word out to many boards that I got there first on, and I've had several discussions with any organization that I think will listen including ARRA and COW out in the immediate desert cities.

I'll be here for the rally and doing my very best to remind folks on that day and days previous that we need to show up and post. In those posts they need to show just how important JV is to us, ours, our families, our friends, the local and extended economies, and to the offroading world in general.

I went through my email addresses and spammed anyone that I thought might not shoot me when the notice for the Rally shows up in their inbox.

I'm only one, but there are thousands more like me and we are all on your side in this. I haven't said thanks yet, but we owe all of you a big one.

I'll commit to being here for the entire time the Rally thread is going. I hope that helps take a small portion of the burden from you.

Kurt,
I read something about this was going to happen in every forum on PBB. Any thought of getting volunteers to staff each of the forums. Then they could be a pseudo mod to keep it on track and moving forward.

I spoke to a TON of people during OffRoad Impact about this and got approval from someone well placed in the industry side of things to send him the press release tomorrow and he'll forward on one of the largest "industry company" e-mail lists there is. It'll reach practically every company out there, but hopefully will be received in time for them to get into action. I'm putting together a release that explains what this situation means to THEM as an industry company and then asking them to get behind this with joining the rally as well as contacting the BRC and other land use groups they belong to so they can find out what more they can do.

Kurt, people are behind you on this...it may seem somewhat quiet out there but you would have been shocked at how people at Impact already knew what was going on and how concerned they were.

To those that are reading, but not actually doing anything...we need you to step up.

Finally, remember that this will not be over after this week's rally...it'll take far more effort to follow through on this, than the few days of preperation for this rally. Think about how long some of your trail fixes and recoveries take...if you haven't sent at least the time equal to a couple of those, working on THIS subject, then you need to re-think your priorities. This issue will take away that very land you wheel on!

Thanks Dustin...

Thjat means a lot...

I guess i am just really worried about the number of people that will show up for the Rally...

People just seem to not understand that this issue is WAY bigger than just the hammers...

We have the chance to finally show everyone HOW LOUD the OHV voice really is and can be. this rally NEEDS to be a sucess. If there is anytime for all of us to come together, it's NOW!

I STILL need people to let me know who they sent the PR out too......

Anyone who has ever posted in the JV forum should go post up positive comments about Johnson Valley and the Hammer trails, regardless of whether you have been there or not... if you think you may go, or think you may like to, your post will help make a powerful statement to help secure that opportunity.

This is a huge opportunity for the organized motorized recreation community to do something that has not been done and do it HUGELY.

Please pitch in and post up positive comments here: www.pirate4x4.com/jv
