Well I placed an order for 4 of the 3300s. I REALLY doubt we will see these but the customer service from American Express is great so what the heck.

Sure I've missed out on the leatherman wave's for $20 each, order got canceled.

Sure I've missed out on the detroit lockers for $100 or whatever it was, order got canceled.

But I did get a Warn HS9500i for $550 delivered.

One out of 3 aint too bad, so this is worth a shot, who knows we may just get lucky. If we do then I'll end up with close to $1000 worth of cases for under $100. I be a happy boy if it happens.

my online statement shows the charge pending already. i think the company is legit but messed up on the ad. all the other prices seem fine.

Not too worried, I always keep an eye on my account and USAA is pretty hardcore about protecting its members. First sign of something odd I'll give em a call and set the hounds loose. If it gets canceled I'm out nothing, if it goes through then I do a lil happy dance. Tis a gamble with pretty much nothing to loose so why not?

After the charge has been conducted, just call up the CC company and ask that you be given a card with a different account number.....like when you lose it. But, this is why it's good to have at least one card with a $500 limit.

Yup, thats what I though way back when Carparts.com opened their doors with a 33% off sale on all items. Got my $900 winch for $550 delivered. Sure most of the deals that are too good to be true and bunk, but occasionally they come through. Just ask all the guys that ended up with Procomp tow straps for $10 (or something like that) instead of $60, they went through alot of straps before they wised up and started canceling orders.

Just ordered a IM3300, OD Green W/Foam $15.09 :smokin:.We'll see if it shows up.

I just put my order in for two, one 3100 and one 3200 (already have a 3300). I put them on a credit card with a bank that I know has great fraud protection (+ my job involves fraud investigations and I work with the DOJ occasionally, so I'm not too worried).

Also, I took screenshots of my receipt and the website just in case.

Here's what I suspect will happen, they will ship out a couple orders, basicly they'll ship all the cases they have in stock, chances are they use "Mail Order Manager" or something similar that will spit out the packing list and the wearhouse monkeys will fill the orders as they come in. Once they ship every Storm case in stock they'll backorder them, someone in purchasing will notice that they recieved 1800 orders for Storm cases and they'll start investigating and end up canceling all the remaining orders. Just have to hope you ordered early enough or ordered some oddball stuff that few other people did.

That said I just ordered another 20 cases, here's hoping.

As long as they are a decent sized operation the chances of it going through are greater as the payments/orders received are normally totally different than the guys who package/ship the crap.
