Campfire restrictions are *STILL* in effect in Tahoe and Eldorado NF.

Unless in a designated recreation area (see the link)

" Wood Fires and Charcoal Barbeques will not be allowed.

Gas Stoves and Gas Barbeques are allowed if a California Campfire Permit is in possession."

http://www.r5.fs.fed.us/eldorado/news/order03_01_05.htm

So bring lots of Anti Freeze to keep warm.

You guy's need to head south. No restrictions at Swamp Lake other than the usual campfire permit.
