When I was 16, I had a K5 and I used to out to Table Mesa, take the road that goes to the left and end up at the north end of lake pleasant. I used to love to wheel out there, but now I am 20 and have a lifted K10 I want to take out to the trails.

Where are the trails? Is there a map or anything? I see some small trails sometimes, but not sure if I would get in trouble for going off the road or not. I go out far enough past the "protected" areas that you need a land use permit for, but ill get a permit if necessary.

Also, I want to find a good spot with mud/water to get dirty in, and possibly camp there for the night and wheel in the morning, any good spots?

So where do I go? Thanks..

lets see the specs of the rig and then we can tell you what you can probly run. tere are a lot of trails out there but now you cant camp at the back of the lake. they closed it off. for camping you can go down by the river, thats where i usually camp. post up when your gonna go out and then maybe i or somebody can go out there with you can show you some stuff that you can handle.

you check out locooffroad? thats a good local forum. are you locked in the rear or front or both? do you have saddle tanks? how do you feel about body damage? you could do raw deal probly and lower terminator. we got my buddys 78 f250 long bed open/open through lower terminator but it took a bit of creativity to find the right lines. if you dont have a locker i would go get a lockrite for the front and then you can do a descent amount more. one locker make a huge difference. there pretty cheap and work great. is your truck a short or long bed?

I have dual tanks, saddle bag tanks.

Body Damage, I don't want it but wont mind it happens.

Its a short bed. I am getting the broken leaf spring on it fixed on monday and I might go out tere monday afternoon.

I am looking for a tube front bumber/brush guard, any good shops in phoenix?

Lost offroad can build you one for a reasonable price, and some rock sliders to protect your saddle bag tanks to go with it. Check him out.

pretty much raw deal and terminator are your trails for now until you get a locker for the front or rear. the saddle tanks suck for rock crawling sorry to say it. have you thought about getting a fuel cell or a tank for the bed? that woudl save you a ton a greif down the road. as for a bumper or any fab work you need i can build it for ya. just let me know. broken springs suck. never broke one myself but have seen a lot on other peoples rigs. a few of us will be out at table mesa on sunday i think. you could come out and we could show you a few trails.

I definetly need a good bumper and some rock sliders, can you do this?

Where can I get a fuel cell for the bed for a reasonable price? I want a big one so I can do long trips.

Any good spring shops around here? My buddy went shooting at table mesa on saturday and today, and met a guy with a k30 or something and we are going down to his salvage yard tomorrow to get new springs, my buddy says he has lots of parts for my k10 I can get. I need to hook up my ac compressor and everything, I need brackets and crap.

We jacked the truck up tonight and took the spring off using only socket wrenches and a impact hammer and a few other tools, I am not sure of my lift so we are taking it with us to show the shop what size I need, and I am getting a pair of springs tomorrow, and I hope to be out at table mesa tomorrow afternoon.

I actually went to desert rat today, and they had 4" lift springs for $99 each they were superlift softrides, are these any good? me and a buddy put the leafs on today in about 4 hours with only a racthet set and a tourqe wrench and a few lifts. The bolts all came right off without a problem, much better ride now.

Ill get you a design of what I want, thanks.
