The UROC website says the 8-12 October....that is Tuesday through Saturday....

What's up with that? I want to go watch, but 5 days? Does anyone know the format?

Is the course going to be in Choke Cherry Canyon or at the Rock Garden?

I want to take my Cruiser out to do some wheeling, so I need to know where the event will be...

Sup:confused:

Competition is the 11-12 so I assume the rest is tech inspection, check-in, etc.

Craig just said the days prior are for practice?!?!?! Wonder if they are going to let competitors run the courses before the event or ??? Interesting

What the hell does it matter which place its in:question:   Just come on out and wheel with us, if you want to hook up with some locals just get ahold of me, the Rock Garden 4 Wheelers will be glad to show you around. BTW, their last 2 events were in the garden, but not sure where this one will be. One thing you can bet on, the actual obstacles will be a secret. Right before their last event in the garden Jaffer and I were wheeling out there and ran into Bob and his crew, they seemed real uncomfortable that anyone had even seen them out there!

When the time draws near, I will PM you so we can hook up.

Is there anyone out there that can show us around during the week? We need to come out a few day s prior to the event to see the sights :D

I'll let some guys know you're coming, maybe someone can find the time. Let me know as early as possible what your plans are as far as when you will be here.

Sure - I usually can take off anytime.
Especially in the mornings since CCherry is just a stone's throw from my house. So even if I couldn't stay all day for some reason I could sure get you started.
In the prior days to the comps, there's usually several other out of towners already wanting to do the same thing and taking you to the favorite playgrounds and past RCAA sites where you can hook up will be easy.
If what I heard about thier planning on less techincal and more long steep, hairy climbs then the gates should be in and around the same area of the past two RCAA comps ...
Around where the photo famous B-7 climb of the Fall of '01 meet was and around the area where the American flag and the announcers were at this spring's meet.

Nolen,

Jon D. here. Who are you planning on hitting Farmington with? Just curious if anyone else from Cowtown is interested.

I might be up for it, depending on if I decide to run in Carnage.

Later,
Jon D.
