I have a friend at work that is looking to buy a gun for concealed carry. I think for the most part she will be putting it in her purse with the VERY occasional holstering. So what are you ladies (or your lady friends) carrying? Shes probably 6'4" so I think she could control most calibers. I know this question has been beat to death on here but this isnt for me (I could pick something and make it run where this is not an option for her). We do plan on heading to the range to see what feels right I just want some opinions.

So what you got.

if she is that big then look at fullsize autos as her hands would feel more comfortable on them.

glocks, XD's, sigs. there are a LOT of choices if it fits her hands

she's 6'4" and feels the need to carry? She could probably woop up on anyone causing her any trouble. The S&W 3913 Lady Smith is a good choice for most ladies, however I think she would be comfortable shooting about anything.

I believe its the same gun, just different colors. I also had a 3913. I liked carrying it, however it was a little too small for my hand
