so I saw this toyota camper (pickup cab with camper, no box) and it had a duly V6 rear axel that was a FF with a 6 lug pattern and it was a small axel in comparison to say a 60 FF, not very wide

anyone seen this before

I've seen 'em under the older "dually" Toys that they used to have out there. The "1-ton" and those tiny Winebago's.

Honestly can't say if I ever noticed 'em being FF or not though, but definitely factory duals.

this is kind of related,
is it just me, or did some of the newer land cruisers come with a disc braked full floating rear axle? When I lived in Venezuela I saw those cruisers all the time, and I swear some of them had full floating rears....

that's a FF rear end in the 1 ton pickups and winni's ... it's got a wide 6 lug pattern that makes it's kinda hard to use. but you can adapt normal 6 lug hubs to it if you've got the tools to turn and adapter piece.

YES! I didn't notice the disks but they are definitely full floaters. I think that you can get a full floating rear FJ80 axle in the States too though.

And did you notice the semi-floating offset rear Dana 60s under the FJ-70s? They have some cool stuff down there!

I think that Drew Persson was building up a FF 8" rear for his rig. Front Range Off-Road also sells a conversion kit for a full floater.

I grabbed a big bearing rear from a Lincoln Versailles, real stout tubes and nicer center section. I then had a buddy make me a set of adapters to bolt on Toyota straight axle spindles and all. Bingo, full floating 9 inch rear with 31 spline inner and 30 spline outers, and all parts can be had right off the shelf except for custom axle shafts, but You get to choose your own width anyways then. I can email pics if needed, and yes I do have 1 set for sale (adapters, spindles, hubs, lockouts, and rotors) great if you want to put a 9 inch under a Toy, go full float, and disc break all at once. Anyway they worked awesome, a lot of latheing though, these things are beefy and the craftmanship is top notch.
