Well I sold my Dana 44's to a buddy with a Zuke :smokin: I started building a set of axles about a week ago or so. Most of you know I'm a anti 60F guy :flipoff2:

Front 609
Shaved 9''
5.38's
Nodular 3rd member
Spool
Yukon 35 spline shafts
Yukon Super joints
Ford 60 outers with flat top king pins
hysteer (arms behind axle)
Full hydro

Rear 9''
Trussed
5.38's
Nodular 3rd member
Spool
Yukon 35 spline shafts
disc brakes

I have 15x12'' rims w/ 2'' BS and Staun beadlocks. I will be running 44x18.5x15 TSL's :grinpimp:

I will post pix once I decide if I want to build the front or buy a Spidertrax 3x3/8 axle. At this point the rear is built and done I just need to build the front.

Yes we know...

That being said, if you had to put a budget to these axles compared to build D-60, what would the costs be, and how does the performance compare?

As far as strength goes, I think it's open for debate.......Most agree a 9'' front is stronger, lighter and better clearance.

Cost is more but not by alot $800-$2000 if you want all the bling. I'm on a budget so I'll keep it close to $800 :D

Both pictures
Dana 30 & 44 are 4.88's
Dana 60 & 9'' are 5.13's

not to mention the 3rd pinion support bearing. that helps a ton.
