: What Suspension I should get?

I have had my jeep for two years now. I built everything on it but I did not know much when I did it. I did a BDS CJ to YJ leaf conversion with BDS 6" Springs under axle. It looks good but drives bad on and off road, no flex and hits hard on even the smallest bumps.

The Jeeps main purpose is off road and a nice cruise on a sunday around town 30 miles of travel tops.

What should I do ? SOA
Linked with coils or 1/4 elipt or air shocks or coilovers

Any info will help. Thanks,

Wow

Tire size? budget? Rocks? Mud? You obviously didn't read the stickies yet. Go back and read them then post up your info. We don't have ESP and todays 4wheeling has evolved into more then just throwing on a lift and tires and expecting it to wheel everything well. People here are more then willing to help you out, but you have to cut us a break too...

Sorry,

I live in the south so mud is the most but I would like to travel. I currently have 35" Krawlers and I built my stock rear 44 up with ox lockers and mosser axles along with my dana 30 front so I wanna keep them for now. I totally restored the Jeep so every thing body and engine wise is new. I did Poison Spider Front Fenders, Rocker Knockers, and rear fenders, but I am willing to change the rears to comp cuts because I rub now in the rear. I put a fuel cell in along with a tbi on a new crate 258 with a DUI Distributor and a pace setter header with a Flow master exaust. I also changed the steering to a super box with a flaming river shaft. I want it to handle great off road in mud and the occasional trip to the rocks. I would like it to handle ok on the road for short trips. My budget is $5000. I would like later to change the axles because I know those stock ones will not last long.
I really want to do it all my self because I have done that so far. All the guys down here in my club run TJ's and Jk's on 33" and 35" so there no help.

Any info and input will help.

Thanks,

The SOA isn't as easy as some folks think. I'd call another suspension company and tell them what you're wanting, they won't have to play e-tag with you and may be able to offer a kit with similar lift and a better ride, but you could go to a lower lift to get a better center of gravity.

For 5k you can do a Clayton coil conversion and have one hell of a nice setup.
