I have done a spring over axle lift to my 1968 fj 40. After I got everything like I wanted it, I took it for a road test. I was never so glad to be back at my shop by the time made it back. It was a steering nightmare! At times it would drive very subtle, then suddenly it would dive left, then right and it seemed that my compensations to this made it even worse. I have read several articles about soa lifts and steering is the primary issue it seems. What can I do to remedy this issue? Would a drop pitman arm help or solve my problem? I would appreciate any advice regarding this.
