This is the new All-Pro / Currie Iron Jock Dana 60 rear end for the FJ Cruiser installed into Jons SAS equipped rig. This is the ultimate cure for the broken rear ring & pinion sets common to the FJ with the stock rear end. Better clearance under the driveshaft is attained though the high pinion design, and the beefier 9.5" ring gear (compared to the 8" OEM Toyota setup) really adds strength. You also have less to get hung up on as the entire underside of the differential section is a smooth radius that slides over rocks, with NO LOSS OF GROUND CLEARANCE! And for those wondering about the brakes; it uses the factory setup, so the ABS and A-TRAC are fully functional. As a bonus, you also get a 3 position adjustable panhard mount bracket standard to keep your axle in the correct position regardless of the amount of lift you have installed. Pricing for the axle is about $2100 (Anti-Rock sway bar not included) plus your choice of gears and differential, and we will have them in stock in about 2-3 weeks.

None so far. It's only been in for a couple of weeks but it's already been to the Hammers and about 5 trails in Moab as of today. I've got the same rear axle in my FJ40 with 420hp and 39" Krawlers and have never had an issue.

I am really happy about how the vechicle drives and handles. Right now we are working on refining all the brackets for production.

any thoughts, ideas? using some of your parts to incorporate the factory taco stuff into my 'new' drivetrain?all the abs stuff is intact, just disconnected...obviously i dont have any sensors on the axles, but the rest of the system is still there

are you guys disconnecting the air bag systems in these vehicles when running serious trails(like your recent claw hammer trip?)?

You have to have the sensors and tone rings funtional to make the ABS work. Currie uses the factory rear disc brakes, backing plates, and axle bearings on their 35 spline axle shafts to keep the ABS system funtional. This week we are installing their Unibearing front hub assemblies with tone rings in the FJ which will plug back into the factory harness and hopefully make the whole system operational again.
No we don't disconnect the air bag system.
