i got mine many moons ago when I was foolish and had money so I bought a safari gard winch bumper. I think that the rockware bumpers are probably built more stoutly and cost less also rovertym makes some great bumpers for discos, but honestly it's all a matter of personal preference. And by the way search you newbie.

They're stout, well priced, and you have a choice of styles. Also, John and crew are great to work with.

I agree, Rovertym hands down is what I would get. It would take me about two (maybe three) seconds to think that one through. It is a no brainer when it comes to his stuff. If he makes it, then it is the best on the market PERIOD. No searching necessary.

Problem is, John's not making DII bumpers yet. If I had more time, I'd make one for you. Do you have any fab skills? If so, it's not rocket science. Just takes some time and some thinking things through. Kyle Van Tassel is making a pretty nice DII bumper.

One thing to consider is if you're hung up on a bumper being "air bag compatible". The really aggressive bumpers made for true wheeling and winching are not. Just food for thought.:D

P.S. DAMN NICE BUMPER MORE PICS (CHANTING) Send me some high resolution ones via email and I will post more. How did you mount it.

The front bumper is going to be one of my next projects, but I keep getting Doug M. envy and want to chop my front fenders off (well what is left of them anyways) and relocating different turn signals so that I can cut the front area under the light also. Anyone done this on a rangie yet? LOL

Yea the bumper sticks out about three inches from the grill and is level with the frame. I had a arb I think it stuck out about 10 or so inches. I used to allways plow the ground with the arb.
