SM465 Rebuild? [Archive]

Any tips on this rebuild? I have a new mainshaft on the way, and a manual from GMC & Novak, but any 'gotchas' I need to beware of? I ordered new mainshaft bushings & the tranny is otherwise recently rebuilt, so the mainshaft & bushings is all I'll be replacing.

there was a good article in this months 4wheel and offroad on rebuilding the SM465.
