does anyone know of a inertia ring for the 4.3? or if there's a heavy flywheel i can use? not sure if its even neccesary but a few old school jeepers told me they use 80# flywheels with there buick v-6's to help keep it from stalling at low rpm's.
i have a 4.3 and really don't see a need for anything but a stock wheel. then again i have gearing that can go down to 350 to one if needed.
fyi i run almost all trails in 80: or less

Camo; what was the donor for the 4.3? what kind is it (vortec)?,
how well does it perform at low idle ant about 120:1?it is not nessasary but can a heavier fly wheel be put on?

I have a feeling part of the reason for running the heavy flywheel on the old 225s is that the odd-fire motors run pretty rough at low rpm compared to a conventional V6, prolly helps smooth them out.
