Wondering if any one knows of any good replacements for the stock setup.

If its a stock D30, Currie probably have the best in stock Y - linkages.

Its about $350 but is a lot beefier than stock.

I agree. Currie makes some quality parts.

why replace it? did you bust it or sumthin? i just sleeved my tie rod to prevent some future bends - figger i'll carry tie rod ends with me on trail runs in case i bust one, coz i don't think i'll be bendin' my tie rod again <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

i say, don't fix it til it's broke.

Problem is that TJ drag links are pretty weak too - I know its solid, but it comes from the factory bent and ready to keep on bending right up into the steering damper and track bar mount (happened to me) and the rod ends on that are built in, so if you break one you have to replace the whole drag link.
I've got an over the knuckle system in using 1 ton Dodge TRE's, but I can't get the taper just right (been to a bunch of machine shops and a specialty drill/tap/reamer shop - no one has the match) and over the knuckle on a D30 has some track bar issues, so I'm going to put in a heim based system with an over the knuckle drag link and under the knuckle tie rod using DOM 1.25" OD tube with a 3/16" wall.

DS is right, drill out the knuckle, make your own. Very easy...
