I'm looking for a source for steel weld on tabs to use to mount hydro assist rams.
1/4" or 3/8"thick, 5/8" hole about 2 " tall
Anyone know of anyplace?

Matt if AA doesnt have what you need let me know. There is a shop in town that will make what you need in bulk for good rates.

Avalance is too exspensive and they have what AGR sells only

AA doesn't have exactly what i need. And it would take too much work to modify 100pc at a time

Tj99 see what your guys would charge for the same type tabs that AGR sells for 100pc at a time please or give me there number and i'll be more than happy to call them.
My only other choice is a local shop and i don't trust there quality and timelyness

Thanks for the ideas and keep them coming

Try rockepuipment Tonyk here on the boards. He is out of lodi Ca. then you would be supporting the boards too. He stocks all kinds of tabs and if he does not have what you want he probably can get them or point you in the best direction.

Matt.....

I always by my tabs from auto fab. Thats where the vast majority of custom 4x4 shops gets them most od them are .188 but I always get .250 they have exactly what you want and are reasonable too.If you have something custom they will do those as well , I dont buy anywhere else very satisfied with there tabs.:D

It didn't look like they have exactly what you're looking for but Spidertrax also has assorted tabs.

did you look at the web site or the catalog? I was reading my new catalog as I read this post, I think they have exactly what you need.

part number AA-259-A is 3/16 plate 1 3/4 inch from bottom to hole buy two and weld toghter there like a 1.20 each. oh and it has a 5/8 hole. also AA-270-A is 3/8 plate but has half in hole

Matt, you could get some CNC plasma cut. I know a local shop here that made my beadlocks. I bet you could get a hundred made for $200. I am just guessing on the price but I bet that having a shop make them will be the cheapest way to go. I can get a price for you if you want.

Matt..

Here is there info:

John Ehmke's

I don't think they have a new catalog the one I have is several years old but the same one that they will mail out to you.It looks like they have at least 26 different tabs they make and they are nice , They will make them any thickness you want. They have a couple that looks exactly like AGR its # BA-125 and BA175 and several more and will make customs if you need something they dont have hope this helps Chris:D
