are they the same, i got an old one, and a friend of mine needs one for his newer chev Thanks

The newer wheels use less offset and no longer use a lug-ring, but I'm not sure exactly what year the changes occurred. I believe it was either 2000 or 2002, but I'm not positive. The newer style wheels also have a slightly larger center bore (.050" or so larger). If the offset is the same and the wheel fits the hub, it should be usable.
