Hi there, I will not bore you with the story just the facts and question.
1) I have a 1976 FJ40, It has a holly carb for that year.
2) I have a older stile of fuel tank (’68), w/ no "return line" from the carb.
3) The LC has not been smoged in 8 years. ( Iv been working on it.)
The question... If I take it to my local mechanic here and have them “tune it up” i.e. the carb and timing and smog it will I have to re-tune it when I upgrade the fuel tank??
Currently the return port on the carb is blocked.
Thanks
Tim
P.S. Any recommendations for mechanics (trust worthy… I was scru** last time!) here in Grass Valley CA?
