I have a Pro-Cut 25 and Pro-Cut 55 and love them. dont know if the 60 is a newer version or an older on. But lincon and plasma have a good reputation around here.

I have a Lincoln PC 55 too, and it is actually a 60 amp machine(why they call it a 55 is bewildering). The machine you are talking about is older right!?(I'm not aware of any NEW one yet). If it is the old one I'd be real surprised if it's only been used a couple of times cuase the old sixty was atleast 3-4 years. Anyways my only advise would be to stay away from the BIG machines meaning the older NON INVERTER designs (they had some trouble with those.
If you are willing to spend $1500 why not buy brand new? A new one PC55 can be had @ $2000, and abit. Or better yet how about a hypertherm that does 40 amps for $1500 new that'll get you by for sure. try www.welders-direct.com free shipping no tax!!!!!!!!!

I second the Hypertherm. Don't know what it's like in your area but getting consumables is kinda limited locally for me except for Hypertherm.

hypertherm's customer service SUCKS!!! We had a 5 year old hypertherm and the hi frequency unit went out in it, they told us that they didn't support anything oldert than the current models, and to buy a new one, so we did. We just got a brand new Thermal Dynamics Pak Master 100XL, and it rocks! 80 amps, and it will clean cut 1" steel plate, and will sever 1 1/4" plate. At 60 amps it has a 100% duty cycle. Unfortunately it was better than $3500 for it locally, and when the hypertherm died we needed it immediately for a job...

Finally someone that has the same cutter as mine! except I paid $600 for it. Been used less than a dozen times wasn't even any burns or scrapes on the gun... I love mine! Don't know how I ever survived with out it! Jake
