While replacing the heater core (again) I uncovered some cut wires. This is a small loom that comes from under the dash on the left hand side on the centre of the dash. It contains 13 wires and all have been clipped.

They are:
Purple w/yellow tracer
Purple w/white tracer
Black w/brown tracer
Black w/white tracer
Black w/blue tracer
Black w/green tracer
Black no tracer
White no tracer
White w/black tracer
Red no tracer (x2)
Red w/brown tracer
Red w/black tracer

It seems this loom would have run along the left side of the centre console. The truck had the factory CD player and a/d/s subwoofer but they had been romoved along with the factory stereo when I bought the truck. Could these have been for that?

Some things like the seat heaters and the rear wiper/washer don't work so I'm thinking it could be for those. The rear courtesy light does work, so I know there are some wires that make it back there.

I've looked up the British wiring codes but many of them don't make sense (ie. ignition or tach).

Anyone know where these wires went?

The went to a special module that kept these trucks from ever breaking down. All these modules were removed at the dealership before the trucks were sold to the public. You used to be able to buy them for around $4000 but I think they've been discontinued.

I was lucky. I found one on ebay, but it came from a RHD truck, so everything hooked up in reverse.
