Just finished putting toyota axles on an 85 cj7 and was wondering if there was anyone else out there running these axle as well. While I was at it I also put in some rear toyota leaf spring packs in the front of his cj which moved the front axle forward more. Anyone running this combo. Don't know how it flexes yet but it looks stable as hell. Had to outboard the springs 1 1/2 inches on each side but so far it looks to be pretty good. Anyone know of a cross over u joint that I can connect the d-300 to toyota axles? What about brake lines, what has anyone done? Thanks.

Why didnt you just sell the CJ and buy a toyota? Im sure you can do it, but I keep wondering why you would want to.. care to enlighten me?

somebody on the boards has a flatty that's running toyota junk under it. You should replace the third members with v6 thirds, bigger/stronger.

To answer one of your questions, yes there is a crossover joint from 1310 to Toy. I don't know the part number, but your local driveline place should be able to find the Spicer part.

Brake lines I'm not positive on, since mine's all Toy, but I think Earl's makes adapter fittings from metric to standard.
