Early 90's GMC Sierra 3500. One of our one ton dump trucks is going up on auction next month, and will probably go cheap. This baby's four wheel drive and was wondering what they are worth, if anything.

TIA

if it is a solid axle, it should be a 60 yes a true find. but will more than likly be in the dually configuration. still good stuff. the t case will be a 205 if it has the 60 later mike

aint dat one of dem 35 spline dana 60s wit dat big ole 14 bolt rear an a np205 t-case?

did you say cheap

actually it might be a semi floating rear with the 9.5 inch gear.. supposedly they stopped making the full floater in the early eightys, but ive seen them on the duallys much later than that..

If its early 90's (old body style) than it has a 60 front and 14 bolt rear, in that model they didn't switch to new body style until 92 and the rear will def be a full float 14 bolt

I believe it was blazers and suburbans that switched in 92 I think all pick ups changed in 88.

90-91 cab/chassis should still be old style

Correct, it is dually setup in the rear(one ton dump). So is this a find or what? Also, while checking out the front axle, I noticed a wierd a$$ steering setup. Tie rod is from front to back. Whats with that and how is it fixed? TIA

If you mean that the drag link is from front to back, all GM solid axle 4X4s are that way.
