If you're not building a Formula Toyota why are you posting in this forum?

If you intend to build a tube chassis with tacoma skins, a 4.3 with a 700r4 and a dana 300 but you don't know what kind of rear leafs to use, and you don't want to spend $200 on them, your project plans and your budjet dreams are nowhere close to each other and you may be in over your head.

I predict that you would not receive much usefull help in the regular Toyota forum either, but you could try.

sorry i didnt explain my idea im using a stock frame like a ftoy with leafs for now till i get the money to do links and air shocks and i can get a whole blazer or s-10 to get the drivetrain out of for not much at all, and the only reason im not using a cab is because i wantedto move the motor back to help with the CG and my cab that i had was a total rust bucket so my friend said well since i was doing a in cab cage and a tube bed just throw a couple more bars up front and have a leaf spring buggy. so back to my question what are a good match in the rear for rears in the front?

Read the Rears Up Front thread in the Toyota Truck and 4x4 section.

You can get about 3" of lift on them, depending on what leaves you put in them. If you run 3 stock rear leaves plus 3 stock rear leaves cut down, you'll get about 3" of lift.

As for matching in the rears, maybe the rear set with a cut down 2nd and 3rd leaf from another rear set?

The main leaf doesn't have much arch
The second (milwrap) leaf has so-so arch
The third leaf usually has most of the arch.

take a set apart and play with it. You'll need to anyway. There's no perfect formula for what you're doing, since your weight will be unlike anyone else's, let alone common!!

You might even consider running a full 3+3 set in the rear with inboarded spring hangers. You'll get good flex, but stiff enough to keep the ass from sagging.
