Well I sent in my views to Boxers website, my letter was nice (no cussing out right which was a hard thing to do)
but it also expressed my concerns over the wilderness bill she is working on and made one major point!
( WE THE PEOPLE CAN TAKE CARE OF OUR PUBLIC LANDS GIVEN THE CHANCE AND IT IS ALL OF OURS NOT JUST THE BIG MONEY ELEATE!!)
After attending the ANTI_WILDERNESS RALLY in Sac. which I drove round trip of 345miles to attend and was well worth the time and the drive concidering what is at stake!
I was impressed with the size of the pietion banner.
( For the people who could not attend the banner consisted of a sheet of brown paper EST.SIZE 4' wide and 12 plus feet long and had std.letter size papers glued to it with about 50 + signatures per sheet and there were I THINK close to 9000 signatures ( Del Albright knows the exact count) Note: We left this banner with Senator Boxers staff I beleave:D
After sending in my letter to Boxers website I thought what if every one on the banner were to send in a letter to Boxers website all in the same day!! :D :D :D
SHE might just get the POINT!! NO MORE LAND GRABS AND NO MORE WILDERNESS!!!

The paper was 6' x 20'. I couldn't fit all of the signatures on the paper so what you saw was less than the total by several hundred. I think it was an effective way to show how many people think Boxer's Bill is a bad idea.
And thanks for taking the time out of you day to drive that far. Many others that are local didn't even think it was important enough to drive 10 miles. :( Stay mad and don't let up. Keep those letters going (Feinstein, your Congressman, and your county board of supervisors).

OK, it was 3' + 3', but I had to overlap to put them together.

OH!
Did anybody see the mis-informed mountian biker who had the sign on his bike that read MOUNTIAN BIKERS FOR WILDERNESS at the ANTI_WILDERNESS RALLY
boy he needs to get a clue and do some checking up on this wild Boxer bill ! But I did notice some of our people speaking with him and herd some of what he said! But I had to go and check on my dog back in my jeep.
Has anyone herd what our people told him and what he said, I hope he was set straight or at least made to think that maybe he should get more info before he spoke out!!

I walked upon part of that conversation. A couple people were talking to him and trying to explain to him why wilderness designations are too restrictive & a bad thing. It was also being explained to him that wilderness means no mountain biking. His reply was "uhmm, yea, i know. Protestor: "You know will not be able to ride there aymore", mtnbkr: "Yea", portestor: "And you're okay with that..." mtnbkr: "uhhh.. yea".
