I've been searching and can't find a damn thing (clear answer) relating to matching up upper and lower Intake manifolds from a Ford Explorer 5.0 (GT40).

I just got a GT40 upper intake manifold, I beleive it's p/n f77e-9425-aa. It has the EGR hole. But I'm tring to find a matching lower.

I know there are a few lowers to pick from. lower p/ns f67e-9k461-ba, f87e-9k461-ba, and ??

Another question is if I'm not going to use the EGR, does my choice of lower matter? or will they all work?

gt40 will match up to explorer if ur not using egr than any year should do. i have a explorer upper mounted to a gt40 lower 351.
