All I will say is that Jonothan is one hell of a salesman, and how many great salesmen don't stretch the truth a little:eek:

When I was in LA last week, I went to TLC and drooled all over the Banderantes there, and took a few pictures. Admitedly, they are interesting, unique trucks. But I would much rather have the TRUE successor to the FJ40. The 2002 FJZ71. 1FZ-FE motor, with 5spd, AC, PS, and cloth seats. Probably 20 grand cheaperthan Jonathons Bandys as well.

As far as the statue goes: Once I get your credit card number, it will be ready for pickup! :p :p :D

It's sad we can't get one, isn't it. The first time I drove a 1FZ equipped 70 series, I was hooked. The dealer got a little worried when I didn't want to get out of the truck and leave. Probably didn't help that I had crawled under the truck in the show room prior to that. Thanks Toyota USA. :mad3: :mad3:

If you want a new FJ40 you can pick them up pretty cheap on ebay. That 1/60 must be the crawl ratio, you think?

They also have a new model. It's called the Toyota Land Cruiser Microfiche. I can hardly wait to see one.
