I have a 5.0l efi speed density motor in my buggy i floped it in moab on monday and it wouldn't start after that. so i put a new brown ignition relay in it today and it started for about 30 seconds and just cut off again now it just cranks and won't do anything any ideas??????im desperate im in az and im supose to drive to penrose co 2mororw 2 run indy. any ideas for a fellow ford man??????

Do you have the inertia switch for the fuel pump wired in from the donor?

my fuel pump is running on a seperate switch i have plenty of pressure at the rail but no fuel in the cylinders. whould the inertia switch fry the relay? where is it

whats the worst case scenario if i hard wire/ bypass the the relay with a fuse just for one day?

- do you have spark ?
if you have spark - and fuel pressure to the injectors - but no injector pulse then i would say the TFI took a shit - check for power to the injectors with a test light - one wire should be battery power when the key is on -
if there is no spark also then check for power to the ecm -

i have spark and fuel pressure. and like i said it fired up and ran but then it shit so it doesn't make any sense to me but ill try the test light next. thanx bro

im not 100 percent sure but you might have to bleed the fuel rail like on a later model ford v8
