I have one on a .308 bolt gun and it recoils like my ruger 10/22. Not loud to the shooter, but to the left and right of the shooter, you had better be wearing plugs AND muffs, not to mention look out for the muzzle blast!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!
