as for measurements i'm not sure but the j20's had 8 lug d44 front and 60 rear. i do think the width would be 62-64" wide range but like i said i'm not sure of the width. surely someone will know.

Check the pirate Bible. All the info is there.

those axles will be close to 66" wide.. diff is offset to passenger side.. and parts are hard to come by.. and expensive when you can find them..
i have one of these in my jeep.. i had to cut it down 3" to match my wagoneer front..

pre 80s J20 fronts are pass drop 44s
post 80 J20 fronts are driver drop 44s
dana 60 rears on J20s were 30 spline
3/4 ton trucks are 8 lug
not sure about width, i'll try an find that out. 63" sounds right (backplate-backplate). WMS-WMS may be more like 66-67.

Hey Extreme... I've got a spare in the garage...I'll throw a tape on it tommorrow. I also got a few of the J10 frts. either side drops, if I can help out. I live in Ohio but work on the WV side, where do you live. Later.
I have a J20 truck.. well.. pieces are spread all over
I can measure the rear 60 tomorrow, and the 44 front by this weekend if you like.
The rear 60 has the pinion offset roughly 5" to 6" to the pass. side, is 30 spline. a buddy is selling a rear disk brake kit for it if you are ineterested - www.metalfusionfab.com (http://www.metalfusionfab.com) - I will likely get his kit when I end up using the axle.
The 44 front *should* use the same parts (calipers, hubs, rotors) as a GM 3/4 ton 44 front - so finding spare shafts may be your only problem (custom?)
Oh yeah - flat top knuckles - both sides...
Here are a couple of pics of the 44 front:
