I have looked at several d50 ttb setup vans. I was told by one guy after I inquired about it that it is basically a bolt on swap. He said if you get a F250 donor you need to cut alot of rivets. Get all the brackets that hold the swing arms and trailing arms to the frame. Then when you put it on you have to drill the holes out to a good bolt size after of course you cut the all the rivets our of your 2wd brackets and remove them. I am going to do this with a 94 E150. I have the 1/2 ton front axle assembly but am still sourcing an electric shift BW t-case out of a bronco. If you use a manual shift case the shifter is akward and behind you. To keep mine clean inside I am going to use the electronic one its for snowy mountain road cruising anyway.
