There will be some serious cutting done to the front as well.. I will be ordering a new front 9"/60 hopefully this week, it will be 2" longer on each side to fit the tires.
The tubing will again become the fenders in the front to keep it legal.

The tube was bent from the place we bought it at, we did not have to bend large radius, just the other bends.

the bumper height will be close, but I do not think that I will get botherd for that on the road. The biggest thing they look at is tires sticking out and all the lights are working and in place. If I get pulled over for something like the tires sticking out then they would slap me with the bumper height.

4 foot extenda flares?

First of all they are only 12" off of the body.

Second, they are a lot more than extenda flares, but I wouldn't expect you to understand what the purpose of the tubes are for.

I'll second that newbies comment!!

I also know of a inspection code about 3"max flares in PA. You might be able to talk the tech into the theory that this isn't part of a flare it is part of the body. Good luck! Check out www.pacodes.com (http://www.pacodes.com) I think that is where I came across it.

You guys are passing judgment on something that is nowhere near completion... I think it looks a little funky myself too, but you can't get a good idea of what it'll be like when it's sitting on 36's. There's a big difference between 36 and 42", so the wheelwells will obviously be filled out much better...
As far as width, I've never run into a situation where the trail is so tight that the extra width of what he's done would cause a problem, even on the tight trails here in the East.
I say wait until it's finished before ya start talkin' trash, mmmkkkkkaaaayyyyy

You are running a 14 bolt, does this mean that you cut it down or is it full width? If it is full width than you are wider than I am my friend!!

My axles will also be 4 inches wider plus a 15.50 tire as compard to a 12.50.

I'm all for talking trash. But not in this case.

It looks alot wider than it is. You have to see it in person. The pictures just dont do it justice. From the look in person, I would say the tube will hit whatever it has to and just slide right on past. Thats whats nice about the continious loop. It will hit but that is the idea. No sweat. And if it dont work No problem Just shorten it up. Thats what cutting tools are made for.

Dont let them get you down CJ It looks fine to me. AS for the street LEGAL THINGY It will never be PA street legal, but you can get it close enough not to draw attention to it. Now When are you getting a cage?????

yes im running a full width 14 bolt and 18.5 inch tires, and yes MY TRACKWIDTH is gonna be wider than yours but i dont run anyflares or feneders whatsoever, just a hood and grill in the front, i like my entire tire sticking out for the stability, but i like having a narrow body in between them, i used to have a k5 blazer and it was to wide for the good trails, and i think with the tube that far out ur gonna have a wider BODY than a k5, i think it is just a waste and looks like ass thats all, but like i said its not done and it might look kick ass, but hell my opinion doesnt mean anything so more power to ya

geeeze, this project is not done, the tirs will be wider so will the axles.... now who ever said about legalitys of an extended flare..... this is not flares.... they are fenders.... and the biggest reason for doin this is to try to not get pulled over for the obvious visual reasons. and as far as hung up, my tube has only helped... i rub off shit, and use it as a pivot point when turning......... just give it a chance untill it is done.....

Regardless of whether or not anyone else likes the look of it or if they think it looks like ass, you gotta give the guy credit for building a capable rig. The fab skills alone involved in building that jeep are way more than alot of people here can claim to have. I've personally never met rockbound and more than likely I never will but from the pics here I can see he does good work. To everyone who doesn't like the look of it, deal with it. You don't have to drive it so don't worry about it. As long as the owner of the rig digs what it looks like thats all that matters.

Just my opinion but it looks badass

I see were your going with this. But Rockbound isn't quite doing all the work himself. The same guy who did BAJG's is doing his. Well They both are.

Still I think to pass judgement earily on in a project is both a good Idea and a bad one.
Good because you might have a better Idea and Rockbound can adapt it in time. And A Bad Idea because you might convince him its a bad idea.

Still the input is worth the risk. Anyone see anything that Rockbound can do better and Why?
