I have about 25 gallons or so of bad gas that I have drained out of my 6 Mog tanks. The gas is very thick and full of crud.
Where or how can I get rid of this without having the tree huggers all over my arse?
I called the county recyclers and they said that they don't do gas and didn't know anyone who did.
Any ideas would be great appreciated.

Well our neighbor had a boat tank full of old gas that he wanted to get rid of so he went and dumped it on our gravel road. Then he decided that it might not be safe cause so pet could come and drink it. So he chucked a match at it.
Sent a fireball 40 ft high :nuke:and singed all the leaves off the top of the cottonwood trees. Sort of wierd to see a trees full of leave, except for the top all summer.
So if you burn it, be carefull.

Hahaha............ :nuke:
I have actually tried on one of the containers. I poured out some onto a 2x4 and held a match up to it but it didn't even spark off. So, some of the gas is beyond burning I guess.
Later.

call your county offices, they should have some sort of Hazardous waste center they can refer you too... out here they take up to 5 gallons for free per month of all sorts of stuff -paints, poisons, cleaning supplies, etc- and charge you like $1 a gallon after the intial 5

What I did was get the crud out by fitering, added that dry gas to get the water out and then added 1 gal to each tank full in my daily driver till gone :D
The solution to polution is dilution :flipoff2:

I gave it to a local farmer. They use kerosene in Smug pots to keep there orchards warm during frost warnings. He was happy to take it off my hands.
