You could read the damn ORD website, and answer some of your own questions.

Must be an East Coast post. :flipoff2:

EDIT: OH! it IS an eastern post! missed that. So it's Tuesday there already?

i did it on my 95 tahoe, i installed a six inch lift on the front and used the ord shakle flip kit of the rear and it gave me an equal lift with no blocks in the rear. although i would make sure you buy the zero rate thingy for it...

Uh, ok.. from ORD:

Shackle Flip™ Kit for '67-up GM Trucks

As seen in Petersen’s 4WOR, 4X4 Power, Off-Road.com and ColoradoK5.com. Turns the factory rear tension shackle into a compression shackle for 2 1/2 or 4 inches of lift without using blocks.

Explain further.

HAHA he probably installed one of those "advertised" 6" lifts. So he only has a 4" lift :flipoff2: Gotta love aftermarket kits, most of them for IFS nowdays only come with 4-5" of lift for the rear anyways.

what does a shackle flip do for your geometry? all things being equal are you better off with a shackel flip or a lift spring.

if you have a long bed truck/suburban it will point your pinion too highand it will easily bind with spring wrap and be completely out of alignment.

if you have swb or blazer it will point you pinion directly at the tcase. if not just a hair low.

it will also push your axle forward 1-2" in the wheel wells, when you flex they will stufff right back to center.

Just use a set of spring hangers from the front of rear springs from a 70's to 80;s k5 blazer they are short and when put on the rear of the frame of a truck with top of baracket aligned with top of frame then simply flip the stock shackles and align brackets so that you have your desired shackle angle and you will have around 5" of lift over stock, to correct the pinion angle issue cut perches loose from rear end and rotate axle to desired pinion angle, I do recomend useing late model 63" springs and in doing that requires you to move front spring hangers as well to maintain tire in the center of wheel well, anything you do will require some fab work wether it be driveshaft work or what, but utilizeing the stock springs with shackle flip is the best option because you maintain flex and with lift springs the more arch the less flex and with blocks you increase axle wrap by every inch on the block because of the added leverage the axle has over the springs, I hope this helps I have run multiple setups and without going to coil overs and four link seems to be the best alternative.

Are the blazer ones differant the the half ton truck ones cause the truck ones that came with my 63s arent wide enough, to use them I would have to bend the springs in to the frame in the back. If that makes any since.

Not at all what I already tryed it and they dont fit. I dont mean that I would actually bend the springs, just that the front spacing and the back spacing with the mounts I got are differant.
