Alright so ive been reading faq and various posts for about 2 weeks now. I've decided to do an sas bob the bed and do rears up front. but im extremely confused about the spring packs i have a single cab v6 89 5 speed and i want to run maybe 36s if i do a 2 inch drop hanger what would be a good spring pack and how long of shackles should i use? i saw a guy who put 2 holes in his drop hanger so he could adjust the springs forward and backward why? 48s or 51s? Im not afraid to use the sawzall. do i need to buy lift springs for the rear end or can i do the same to the rear as the front? what gear ratio would be good for this tire size? im sure ive read some of these answers but they are so spread and some things are contradictary so if any one wouldnt mind lending some knowledge i would appriciate it

first off what kind of truck? im assuming toyota? if so, if you want to go with cheap go with rears up front and chevy 63s out back, basically everything u could need to know is in the faq, from where to mount hangers, how to build packs, ect

Do what the hillbillie said and check out the FAQ in the yota forum. This doesn't mean make a POST in that forum tho :flipoff2:

I have been reading the faq if you know of any specific post that would be of the best help im all ears.... and the more i read peoples opinions instead of actual statistics the more confused i am becoming. I do plan to build my own hangers and shackles. Im asking for a little advice on what a good spring pack combo(be it 48" or 51"?) is going to be which will give me good clearance on 35s and run well in the mud. i will check out the marlin site. but i was looking for advice, not to be brushed under the carpet towards the faq. thanks for the suggestions.
