Anyone out there have a labeled pic or diagram of all of the hoses attached to a stock sammi carb? I've been looking all over the web for two days with no luck. I'm having a few probs on my daily driver that I think may be due to improper routing of the vacuum/water choke hoses etc. Yea, I know this is a hardcore board but someone should be willing to help a guy in need. Thanks:D

I don't know how cool your local Suzuki Dealer might be, but mine let me take the "Dealer Only" manual and copy all the vaccuum hose diagrams... One of their mechanics also let me borrow (as in take home) a book that covers only sammy carbs... I got mine tuned up and running awesome thanks to that... If you can't get your dealer to let you make some copies, let me know, ill copy what I got and mail them to you...
Oh yeah, where is fayeteville? Any good wheeling around there, im in Boone, but also hang out in charlotte and asheville some as well...

i may be mistaken but i THINK theres a few pretty good pics on the pony carb swap page of IZOOK of the stock carb before the swap........ but not 100% sure...... might be enough to set your hoses right.....:flipoff2:

It's an 87 you 2 post newbie! :flipoff2: :D Welcome to the board.
As for where is Fayetteville. It is located half way between Raliegh and the SC border right off of I 95. Not a lot of great wheeling places around here. Uwharrie National Forest is probably the best place to go but it is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours away.
I have a pic of the stock carb but I want to know what each line is for so that I can trouble shoot it. If anyone has the Suzuki Service manual on CD Rom could you copy the Carb section and send it to me via e-mail? That would help a ton. :D Thanks.

If I had it on CD I'd send it, but I gotta ask. All that money on upgrades and you didn't cough up $20 or so for a factory service manual  ? If you don't have one, you should get one because the OEM manual is very good.

Well, I bought an axle from a guy a few weeks ago and he was "supposed" to burn me a copy of the CD and send it to me. He reads the board so I hope that this reminds him. :D So I have been relegated to begging here on the POR board.
Anyone else out there have what I'm looking for?
