Hello,
I'm considering selling my project. I just don't have the time to complete it. First and foremost, the truck has some body damage on the right front fender. It could be worked out though. There also aren't any bumpers. Also it needs a new top. Other than that, it's in pretty good shape body wise.
Now for the good stuff. I've rebuilt a 1.6 VW diesel 1mm overbore. The head has been reworked, and all new parts installed. Turbo has been rebuilt as well. I've already installed the ACME adapter plate and have the trans bolted to the engine. Injector pump has also been rebuilt. I have three injectors, but need one more to match the turbo set. All these parts have 0 miles and 0 hours on them. (except for trans) I also have a nice aftermarket electric fuel pump I'll include. And a ~20 gallon alum. fuel tank I was going to install back in the bed area for a duel fuel/WVO setup. I've got quite a bit of other drivetrain parts to include as well.
Now for the even better stuff. It sets on a YJ spring over converision. I also have a power steering box off a 'kick to go with it. The samurai is on a set of NEW 33" super swampers and black wheels. (I also have the stock wheels you can have as well) That alone was over $1400. I also have lockers new in the box for the front and rear of the samurai. I also have a power steering pump and brackets from a VW as well.
So far I've got well into $5000 in it. But due to the fact I'm moving I no longer have a shop to work in. And am having to part with a lot of stuff. I'll also include the timing tools as well for the engine. $3,000 Pictures available upon request, located between Atlanta and Birmingham off I-20. I could also deliver as well.
