April 1, 2008 - Placerville, CA. Desert Racer and King of the Hammers promoter, Jeff Knoll will join W.E.ROCK's Master of Ceremonies, Dustin Webster, on the microphone to educate and entertain fans of RockCrawling at the W.E.ROCK Western National season opener. The Perris, CA event will be taking place on April 12 and 13 at Perris Raceway, a well known motorcycle racetrack that also has a large rock area perfectly situated to host a W.E.ROCK event.

W.E.ROCK is predicting record crowds and their largest media attendance ever for this event so they are pulling out all of the stops to be sure the attendees of the event are fully informed. Jeff Knoll's background in off-road, including being a promoter for CRCA RockRace events, co-promoting the much-heralded King of the Hammers extreme offroad race, participating as a JeepSpeed desert racer, a desert race crew member with Alan Pflueger, and being a veteran of the sport of rockcrawling, means he will bring a depth of related knowledge that will greatly enhance the event.

"Jeff is amazing at telling a story," jests Dustin Webster. "His enthusiasm and abilities as a speaker will motivate fans and teams alike. With motivation comes adrenaline. With adrenaline comes carnage...fans LOVE carnage, so blame Jeff for entertaining fans in the most expensive way possible!" "That's a bit of a joke, but take it a bit seriously...Jeff has a way of bringing attention to success and failure and making every moment exciting. I truly look forward to sharing the mic with him!"

Looking forward to announcing a werock event. I wont bring my sound bites this time for the guys that remember CRCA's wheels on the bus.

Perris should be a great event, WEROCK has been working hard.

Truth be told, I can't drive for crap and needed an excuse as to why I was not participating in Pro Mod.:D

I really enjoyed Jeff's article on the history of how the King of the Hammers came to be in the new issue of Crawl and am looking forward to him joining Dustin on the mic in Perris.
