Manitou Springs, literally 5 minutes from the heart of downtown colorado springs. Just over and hour to denver. small population, right around 5,500. it is a tourist town which cab suck in the summer because of pikes peak, since manitou is right at the bottom of Pikes Peak.
plus there are a couple good wheelin trial 5 minutes in any direction.
