Worked fine last fall. Took it out and put it back in this spring, and now all I get is a click from one of the solenoids when I push the button. Any idea what it could be? I triple checked all the connections and made sure the battery is fully charged.

probably a bad solenoid. Does it work either direction? Search around and you can find a couple posts on how to check solenoids, I ended up replacing all of mine when I had two go bad

Doesn't work in either direction, just clicks. I'll have a look around, thanks.

Make sure you don't have a ground wire hooked somewhere it isn't supposed to be.

I talked to Warn today and they sent me a test procedure to bypass the solenoids and activate the motor directly. It won't move at all. Crap.

The brushes inside the motor are probably stuck from sitting and not being used. If it is mounted on the truck hook the cable to something and give it a yank. You might be able to break it loose.

take a dead blow and smack the motor a few times, probably stuck/corroded brushes.

Take the two long bolts out of the left side of the motor and take it off and clean the brushes and arm with some 600 grit sand paper and put it back together... (its a bitch to get the brushes back on the arm) You can go to WWW.WARN.COM to get the brake down to give you something to look at.
