Leave it in 3rd and slow down a little or spend money for different gearing.

28-inch tires, really? Man those are small. Anyway, going from 28 to 32 would bring your rpm's down to 2625 in 3rd. If I went gears, I would go the other way and use OD. 4.10's would put you at 2085 rpms in OD. Unless you tow a lot, I am with smurfsdad, slow down while towing, save the cash and buy more

700R4 get real HOT when towing in overdrive. I put a temp gauage on mine and it was scary how fast it would creep up to critical when it lugged in OD. I would slow down, drop into 3rd and the temps would drop. That is one of the reasons why this slushbox got its bad rap.

Just some info to help your decision.

Got with taller rubber & tow in 3rd. Do NOT use OD with a 700R4 except in the following circumstance:

Interstate speeds, with no hills, and no trailer.

Do that, & your tranny will probably live a long, happy life. Otherwise, plan on frequent rebuilds.
