For probably the past 5 or 6 months or so, I've been helping a friend out on his property every couple weekends, doing some manual labor type jobs to get his land suitable for living. It's worked out for both of us because he gets some free help, and I get to do something active outside (call me crazy, but I like doing outdoor type of stuff, even if it's hard work). I never really expected anything in return for the effort, as I see it as I'm just lending a hand to a friend that needs help.

So today I was surprised with this: A Sig P220. This was given to me as a type of compensation for the labor. This is coolest thing that's happened to me this year. I'm as giddy as a little schoolgirl :flipoff2:

i just looked at a P220 at Bass Pro on Friday they wanted $999.00. I would be very happy too.

That looks like it's the older model...it's worth like $200. I'll give you $250.

When I perform work for my friends, my reward is them asking me to help them with more work. :laughing:

Yeah, I know a few people who are looking for the Euro version if you ever decide to sell.

If you get the euro model you cant use most mags that hold more than 7 rounds due to the mag release. I fawking love everything about the 220 I got from Pete [i]except[/] the $40 mags.:eek:

I have the same model, and LOVE it.

Went to Cordova yesterday with my Brother inlaw who just picked up a Kimber Custom II

He is now having second thoughts after shooting mine.
