bashing other bbs or sites is a great way to get banned. please don't do it on my forums. we all have our purpose and place.

Nope, there were just a few rigs left on the coarses and probably about an hour away from the awards ceremony when I decided to cut and run for home ... got in past midnite ...
And I'm still hoping they pulled my stub out of the hat for those free GoodYears ... :p
All I gotta say is it was the toughest event ever and horrably grueling due to the heat.
I've really got to hand it to big guys like Lance and Moose giving it their all under what anyone could call 'harsh' and 'severe' conditions.
They ought to have the spotters pass a cardio/treadmill exam!
The coarses were both steep AND technical, with axel breaking chazems and fissures tossed in for good measure.
Phil Collard, the RCAA coarse designer out did himself on this one, even tossing in 'bonus' gates of evil temptation ... :vader2:
There were tons of action, roll overs, and last ditch frenzy all within easy walking around distance.
Cedar City was :smokin:
Weasel 07-14-2002, 06:14 PM Got any more pics of Randy's rig?? I email him for details of how it's doing but havn't got a reply in a weeks time? I would think his arms are too far apart but that's just me.

Randii, et all ..
I fealt like I was failing to capture some of the action with the digital so I shot the other half of this meet's pics on film with the ol' Nikon F.
Never could get used to the silent, delayed shutter on a digital ...
The rolls are being processed at the local supermarket and I should have the prints scanned and posted on my server in a day or so.
I'm hoping there will be some good ones as I took most of the potentially fast moving action with the SLR at a 500 shutter speed.
Not a bad back up plan I guess ... since as I recall, 'the competition' lost the entire load of the Farmingion meet's pics when the computer ate them! :flipoff2:
So stay tuned ...

I know what you mean. I shoot a pair of Pentax P5's and have for nearly twenty years. I could feed film on my head in the dark... i'm way familiar with these. When I shoot film, I use SeattleFilmWorks and check the box to get them delivered online, in addition to the prints to my mailbox. They can even develop and scan slides, for when I'm shooting for print.
I shoot digital stuff, too, but there's always a film back dangling alongside it!
