I'm tring to figure out how to cut down a wiring harness for a 97 350 vortec for my buggy. I been searching and can't really find anything. I'm looking for a wiring diagram so i can figure out what wires to cut out, or any info on how to do this.

Run the complete harness and dont cut any out.
Or get it running and then start to cut out wires, after you know it works.

You can find some wiring information on alldatadiy.com if you don't mind buying a subscription. Depending on the vehicle it will show what all the connectors are for so you can decide what you want to eliminate. Then you just have to get the computer programmed to eliminate trouble codes for anything you get rid of.

Hey Bob, no it was actually way easier than i thought it would be . Did you get the complete harness? If you did start with the main fuse box run your power to it and from there it is pretty easy to find out what wires you need and what ones you don't. But if you need anything else just give me a ring or stop by the shops been open late I'm running about a week behind.
