A couple of things....

I HATE the word "off-road"

Maybe down there in the desert it is different, but in our National Forests we are not allowed to go OFF-ROAD, we must stay on deginated routes.

Whether is is differnet or not, OHV sounds a lot better and puts a different light on it. Plus OHV is used in the body of the press release.

Coalition? What coalition? What is it called? Who is part of it? Can WE join it? Or does "coalition" = CORVA?

Wayne, you need to respond to this. You logged in again after Kurt's comments. Fess up.

Who is represented in this "coalition" ?

Who was the meeting with... On both sides... ?

What were the main talking points ?

What was the outcome of this meeting ?

Kurt and others, Keep in mind there has been no
negotiations at this time. The first small meeting had reps
from Cal 4 wheel, D37AMA myself representing Buggy/Truck
racers as well as CORVA and a couple of other groups.

This process will take many years, many meetings. Nobody will be left out.

A CORVA field rep wrote the press release. That does not
mean CORVA is the lone or lead ORG working on this.

We have been contacting other interests such as hunters, wind sailors,
equestrian, rocketeers film industry, ETC. The list of multiple use
interest in JV is endless.

I think everyone agrees 29 Palms should either take no action
or move east. That is a no brainer.

There is a meeting in Barstow/Lenwood on Thursday 17th Friends of Stoddard
Valley and the Holiday inn express 7pm as there was last month. Ideas and
suggestions, im sure will be entertained on the JV issue. Any ORG or form
of recreation is welcome to attend.
